Hughes 500 FMS Model Helicopter

Friday, May 25th, 2007

I don’t know if this scale model heli is flying like the real RC Hughes 500 because its very unstable. The tail keeps spinning and I can’t trim or stabilize this craft. But when in the air it is almost controllable but it seems very tail heavy. Seems center of gravity is very far from the main rotor shaft. Anyway it’s only a simulator model and won’t hurt your pocket even if you crash a thousand times. A good start if you like a scale Hughes 500 model heli because you can actually visualize how it flies in the air. And with regards to the keyboard control, its not easy but a transmitter can be very useful. If you want to download it click here: Hughes 500

FMS ( Flying Models Simulator )

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

If you are searching for a very cheap flight simulator, I mean really cheap zero dollars, I suggest getting this FMS. This is a freeware simulator with a very realistic model flying you will ever encounter. Maybe not the best but since it is free it is the best. You can also find many models to choose from in the internet. Anyway I can give you some links to download sites of the programs and the model aircrafts. You can fly helicopters, airplanes, gliders with incredible realism. You can also use your transmitter by plugging it in your CPU using USB but you have to make or purchase the cable in order for it to function.
